Sharing a very special Super Hero themed party I hosted for three guest of honor - My son Aidan, niece Peyton, and little cousin Ariana!

This party was definitely a labor of love, and I enjoyed the planning process because the superhero theme is one of my dream themes! I most certainly liked incorporating some fun ideas into the party as well as some awesome inspiration from Anders Ruff Super Hero on a Budget theme. I utilized a few fun ideas, as with three guest of honor, I thought it would be wise to keep the party fun, but within budget!

Some of my favorite party details:

• Handmade Birthday Girl/Boy Ribbons
• The three separate headliners to spotlight each guest of honor
• The place settings that included the plates and napkins, as well as treat boxes with favors.
• The favors for the guests that included: capes, masks, themed tote bags, super hero theme candies, and tumblers. 
• I liked that each cake was personalized with the likes of each guest of honor!

More party details- The party was held at an indoor trampoline facility, so I was able to include a few stand out details for the place settings and cake table. The guests noshed on pizza, sweets, and posed for fun photos with their capes and masks on!

For our new series Party Tip Tuesday, I'm sharing fun and easy DIY Cake Ideas to keep your party beautiful and within budget!

                 The cost of designer cakes  vary with the skill level of the baker with some costs reaching up to hundreds of dollars! If you have the budget for designer cakes, great, but for the budget conscious, here are some ideas to utilize and DIY! To complete these stylish and inexpensive looks, purchase a  store bought cake mix and icing or a non decorated cake from your local grocery store, then top with simple crafted designs!

We have a great time styling spa parties and it was a nice change of pace to receive a request to plan party details for a play date. As soon as I found out it was a play date, the wheels in my mind began spinning and I thought for this Glam Play Date I want the decor to be whimsical and fun and I thought a cute theme would be Pinwheels & Hearts! From that thought process my Glam Pinwheels & Hearts Play Date was born and the color palette to complete the look would be pink, aqua and white!

• Description:

This play date would include about six guests within the clients home with planned activities!

• Design Inspiration:

With a Pink, Aqua and White color palette I liked the idea of using playful details such as pinwheels and hearts. Although the details were fun and playful I thought the pink hearts would add a sweet yet glam touch.

• Project Details:

I created paper pinwheels for as the centerpiece and used oversized dots as table confetti. Fun party additions included a mini sweets table with cupcakes and pink beverages served in plastic drink bottles against a Pink and Aqua Pinwheel Backdrop. The mom also incorporated a mini candy buffet with color coordinating sweets for the guest to nosh on in between activities. 

For activities at this Glam Playdate,  made ribbon charm bracelets, lip balm, and pretty handbands as well as having their nails painted, and make up application in light and glittery colors.  The girls also took turns playing tic tac toe and other games on their place mats that doubled as work areas, as well as activity stations.
