What do you love about your job?
 
I love that we are collaborating with our clients to enhance their child's birthday celebration and seeing our ideas come together for a fabulous birthday party! I also love all of the beauty, make up, nails, and glamour activities involved in our parties because my job never feels like work!

What or who inspired you to start your own business?

  I was inspired to start my own business while on maternity leave from my previous job in human resources. I felt I wasn't using my creative talents, and I knew deep down that it was time to take a chance and see where my passions took me! I do not regret my decision as I love working with kids and the creativity involved in party planning, and I enjoy being a part of our clients' celebratory moments.

Describe your most memorable project.

  My most memorable projects are always the surprise parties. It is always a great experience to arrive at our venues, set up the decor, wait for the guest of honor to arrive, and finally see the look of happiness and surprise on her face when she sees her family, friends, and our area transformation for the party. In that moment, I feel our efforts in organizing the party, preparing for the big day, and giving attention to detail are all worth it just seeing the guest of honor happy, excited, and ready to party!

We had the opportunity to provide styling for a totally fab 15 year old with free reign to decide the color palette and here is what we came up with!




I am totally obsessed with Pink, Aqua, and Kiwi Green these days so I went with that color palette and I loved it (oh yeah, the girls did as well!). Matter of fact, I am not typically a "green person" but, I saw a stunning set of partyware while out shopping and that made my decision as to what colors I wanted to use for the event.




This party by far was one of the smoothest and simplest in terms of activities, for this group we provided a nail polish station, dessert table, and backdrop for party photos. The dessert table included, cupcakes, cake bites, macarons, gumballs, rocky candy, and jelly beans.


The setup was poolside with a stunning backdrop that made for a fun party!

We get color requests all the time for Pink, Black and White, but it's always hot pink, so I loved the opportunity to provide styling for 12th birthday party with a lighter shade of pink!

I used a combination of Paris Pink, Black and White as well as a mixed striped and polka dot patterns. My favorite element was the favor table that included a black and white striped backdrop, with the birthday girl's name "Francesca" emblazoned across it.

The party favors included hot pink sunglasses, body wash, bath sponge, candy make up, color hair extensions, and lip gloss. To further tie in my One Direction theme, I created custom paper goods to accent the party ware which included favor tags, straw flags and a few more items not photographed.
 
Activities included make up and nail polish application, DIY craft and photos. Our photo backdrop coordinated with the party theme with pink, black and white and polka dots!

I wanted to share the party details for a simple classroom party I designed for my 5 year old niece, Peyton. The theme was a Doc McStuffins inspired setup; I didn't go into a lot of detail as the party was in my nieces classroom, so I kept my decor limited to the table top! Some of My Favorite Party Details!

• The pink, aqua and purple color palette is one of my trending color palettes, which I don't mind because I love it!
• I wanted a custom Birthday Girl Ribbon for my niece Peyton, so I created one using ribbon and cardstock! It was very easy and I loved the final look!
• Because this was a classroom environment, I wanted to keep all of the details simple and easy, so all of the accents were created using paper. For the table scatter I used a large paper punch and cut shades of purple, aqua and pink and scattered across the table. For the table cloth, I used craft paper, which was easy to dress up the table and even easier to dispose of once done.
• Favors in the treat boxes for the girls were: rings, bracelets, sunglasses, play-dough, stickers, band aids, and candy. For the boys treat boxes I included sunglasses, mini trucks, band aids, play-dough, crayons, Doc McStuffin's color pages, yo yo's, dinosaur figurines.
