Ocean Preppy Boy Party Kit Review for BirthdayPartyKidz.com

As a party planner and mom I LOVE birthdays, just not all of the time and effort it takes to prepare for them! Because I am typically juggling multiple parties at once, it's important to be able to source and receive all of the necessary supplies for a party at once or at least in a timely manner. 

With that said, I recently had the opportunity to review Ocean Preppy Boy Party Supplies for Birthday Party Kidz! I have never purchased a party kit and I loved the idea of having all of my basic party supplies in one neat little box. 

The nautical inspired Ocean Preppy Boy kit features a classic combination of shades of blue, white and green. After browsing the content box, a few things pop into my mind, a kit like this offers the potential to save time and money as nearly everything is at your fingertips. Of course I LOVE this idea, and I am wondering why I have not purchased a kit like this before!

I was impressed the kit included  most of your basic party essentials such as a tablecloth, cutlery, plates, curling ribbon, balloons, cups, and thank you notes. Having all of this delivered to my door step, really set the tone with creating a fun celebration with ease and gives me extra time to think about additional details I want to include.

Because parties are my obsessive hobby, I always have an over abundance of supplies on hand, I thought it would be a fun idea to include tips on using your Ocean Preppy Boy kit and a few additional decorative options! 

1. Tags and Embellishments - Consider personalizing your party with a banner like the above polka dot and stripes banner or a name banner. Birthdays are big achievements and its always fun to see your name highlighted throughout the part area. Another way to embellish your party would be to include tags with your theme, like the whale tags above to use on favor boxes, drinks, or napkin rings. Using a consistent image or theme continues the overall look of your party and gives it a cohesive feel.

2. Serveware and Cutlery - I like the idea of using color coordinating napkins and cups in multiple colors to keep the party bright and festive. A few trendy options you may consider including are classic paper straws, wooden cutlery, and small cups for fresh fruits and treats.

3. Decorations - Scattered confetti, like colorful preppy whales, scattered on the table or a food and beverage stations, reinforce your theme and look cute lying about. Patterned Washi tape is simple to use and easy to add flare to any plain item, wrap Washi Tape around solid color cups, favor bags and tons of other places.

4. Favors - Nothing screams ocean like colorful beach pales and patterned towels, use these re-useable items as party favors that will certainly be a crowd pleaser, as well as bubbles and sweet treats in mini gable boxes.

 

5. Thank you - A celebration without friends, is not much of a celebration at all, make sure to pass out thank you cards for all who attend and make your party one for the books!
